Crews from Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Stourport, Bewdley and Bromyard and specialist boat crews from Worcester, Evesham, SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association), and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, have dealt with a major flooding in Tenbury Wells.

The River Teme burst it's banks into the Town Centre in the early hours of 26th June, but had already flooded surrounding areas.

Fire Appliances struggled to attend incidents due to the high water levels on the roads, boats and police helicopters had to be called in to assist.

Firefighters spent three days solid rescuing people from cars in floodwater, evacuating the town and pumping out during the aftermath.
