Tenbury Fire Station held it's annual barbecue and open day on Saturday 30th August 2008,

The event was extremely well supported by local traders and the public, with the barbecue being flat-out all night.

Fire engine rides proved again to be very popular, with two appliances going out on trips.

Both the Tombola and Bar were also drawing a crowd, between them making £580, as was the tea, coffee and cakes which made an impressive £43.

Muriel worked hard and made sure she didn't miss anyone on the main draw, raising £181 - we must thank Muriel for all her efforts.

We would like to thank everyone for their support, and the shopkeepers and local traders, as without them we could never put on such an event.

The event made £1287.47 for the Fire Fighters Charity.
